At this week’s Allscripts Client Experience (ACE) for Hospitals & Health Systems (HHS), Allscripts recognized several healthcare organizations for their outstanding accomplishments. During the celebration in Dallas, four Allscripts Client Innovation Excellence (ACIE) Awards were awarded to organizations on the forefront of using HIT solutions to deliver exceptional patient care.

Consumerism (U.S.): DaVita Medical Group

In partnership with FollowMyHealth®, DaVita delivered impressive results with its programs focused on online scheduling, telehealth and patient outreach.

DaVita decreased appointment no-shows with a mobile outreach program, then gained significant operational efficiencies at the front desk, and even demonstrated higher patient engagement using FollowMyHealth’s mobile functionality.

Consumerism (International): SingHealth

SingHealth, Singapore’s largest public healthcare group with more than 40 clinical specialties, committed to delivering comprehensive, affordable and accessible care. Leveraging digitization and innovation, SingHealth is transforming the way care is delivered to patients.

SingHealth is piloting the use of bedside iPads installed with a mobile app, MyCare. MyCare leverages Allscripts Open APIs to enable patients to access their personal medical information and daily care schedules, including meals, medication and tests at their own time and convenience. Patients can access educational videos and self-care tips via the app. This enables patients to better understand their treatment journey and empowers them to be partners in their care.

Business Health: Baptist Health Care

To address clinician burden and effective clinical operations, Baptist Health Care instituted a program called Carousel that offers every clinical specialty in the health system (40 plus) an opportunity to optimize their workflows within the EHR.

Each specialty benefits from focused attention on their pain points across all care team members who collectively decide how they will optimize care. This model has helped ease clinician burden and other organizations are starting to use it.​
